Rental Terms and Conditions

We are delighted to be providing you with our rental service. Here are some important terms and conditions in a reader-friendly version to help ensure a smooth rental experience. 

Booking and Payment
When you make a booking with us, you agree to our terms and conditions. Payment is required in full before the event, and we accept payment via EFT or credit card.

To secure your booking for the desired date, we kindly ask for a $50 deposit upon receiving the invoice for your booking. If you haven't paid the deposit within 7 days of the due date, your provisional booking will be cancelled automatically.

We kindly request that you pay the final balance no later than 7 days prior to your event date. If you don't pay the remaining balance before the due date, your booking will be cancelled automatically and you will lose your deposit. If you book within 7 days of the event date, we ask that you make full payment upon receiving the invoice to secure your booking for the desired date.

Please note that we do not accept payment for final balances on the event date upon the delivery of the rental equipment.

For your protection and ours, we will request your credit card details to cover for any damages, theft, cancellations, cleaning or inability to access the equipment to be picked up at the agreed time. We will place a pre-authorization on the credit card you provide during the reservation process. The amount will be specified on your invoice and it will show up as a pending payment on your online statement. This pre-authorisation may be used cover potential charges for equipment damage or additional cleaning requirements. We will only charge the pre-authorised amount if necessary, and we'll always notify you before doing so. Your credit card's available limit should be sufficient to cover these potential charges. We will release the pre-authorisation as promptly as possible when you return the equipment in good condition, this usually happens within 7 days but it depends on your credit card provider. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation on this matter.

Cancellations
If you need to cancel your booking, please let us know in writing immediately. A cancellation fee will apply based on the following:

  • more than 7 days before the hire period commences: $50 (non-refundable deposit)
  • between 1 and 7 days before the hire period commences: $100
  • less than 24 hours before the hire period commences: 100% of the booking fee, and any balance payable is due immediately.

If you remove items or reduce quantities from your order, a cancellation fee will also apply to these items at 50% for items cancelled outside of a 24-hour period of the event date and 100% inside a 24-hour period of the event date. Please note that cancelled bookings as a result of COVID-19 restrictions still apply.

Rescheduling
You can reschedule your event with us at no cost if you provide us with 48 hours or more notice. If you provide less than 48 hours notice, a $50 reschedule fee will apply. By providing your credit card details, you're authorising us to charge your credit card for any cancelled or rescheduled bookings.

We reserve the right to reschedule a booking if it is a safety risk to deliver or set up the equipment, in the case of extreme weather conditions such as torrential rains, hail, strong winds, flooding, extreme thunderstorms, earthquake or an area being restricted from access due to a terrorist attack. Should we not be able to deliver at a later time on the event date, we will happily deliver on the next available day.

Hiring Period
Our rental period is typically for one day, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing by both parties. If you need to keep the equipment for longer than the agreed-upon rental period, please let us know as soon as possible. Failure to return the equipment or inability for our drivers to access the equipment for pick up at the agreed time will incur a daily charge for the equipment for any days beyond the agreed hire period.

Loss and Damage
We take pride in our equipment and want it to be in the best possible condition for all of our customers. We trust that you will take care of the equipment during your rental period. However, please be aware that you will be responsible for any loss, damage, or cleaning fees that may be incurred during your rental period. We reserve the right to charge your supplied credit card for any such fees.

Delivery and Set-Up
We want to make sure that your rental experience is as easy and convenient as possible. We will deliver the equipment as specified on the booking invoice and will do our best to accommodate your requested delivery time. However, please be aware that deliveries outside of our standard delivery hours of 8am-4pm may incur an additional fee. If you need us to deliver the equipment to a location that is more than 10 metres away from where our vehicle can park, or requires stairs, steep descents or going up levels in buildings, please let us know via email so that we can provide you with an accurate quote. Please note that equipment set-up (apart from outdoor cinemas, karaoke machines, and slushie machines) is the responsibility of the hirer, but we are happy to provide instructions and, for certain equipment, set-up services for an additional fee.

Occupational Health and Safety
We want everyone to have a safe and enjoyable rental experience. Please ensure that you have proper knowledge in the operation of the equipment, and that all safety precautions are followed. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us.
